With our "anyfare, anywhere" programme you have the flexibility to book flights, accommodation, tours and cruises - all using your points. Best of all, you're not restricted to a limited number of "frequent flyer" seats. If there's a seat available on the flight you can book it!
How it works
The number of points required to redeem a flight is based on the fare available at the desired time and date of travel and the class/standard of travel selected. Once you decide where you want to go and when, Travel Plus Holidays checks for the cheapest available seat on that particular day and tells you how many points are needed. This offers you the greatest amount of flexibility and also allows you to take advantage of last minute availability and airline sale prices. You're also not restricted to one airline. You can choose to fly one way with Qantas for example, and return with Virgin Blue if that fare works out the best value and/or seat availability for you.
Points + $
To make it even more rewarding, a points + $ option has been introduced. This means that you have the flexibility of using your points when it suits you and not just when you've reached a certain level. If a particular flight requires 25,000 points and you only have 20,000 we'll calculate the difference and allow you to pay for it. And if that's not rewarding enough - pay the difference with your HSBC credit card*and you'll earn bonus points on the amount paid!
